SUMMARY:Online Gathering for Ministers to the Sick
DESCRIPTION:The government has allowed taking communion to the sick in principle\, but we must work within infection control restrictions to keep everyone safe\, especially in the light of the new varient. We also have to be careful to respect the protocols of the hospitals\, care homes and individuals we visit. \nThis workshop will work through the new diocesan guidelines on taking communion to the sick in a Covid safe manner. There will be an extended q+a to make sure we cover all eventualities. \nWe hope to record the workshop to make it available for those not able to attend. There are also printed guidelines for those not able to access the internet. \nThis training is for: \n\nExtraordinary Ministers of Communion who visit the sick\nSVP members\nOther parishioners who visit the sick\nOther interested parishioners\n\nThe workshop is a joint project of the Pastoral Ministry Office and the Liturgy Commission. \nRegister!
