DESCRIPTION:  \nMany parishes are seeing online groups as part of their long-term strategy\, recognising that the downside of not being together in person is more than offset by increased accessibility of online groups. However it can feel like a minefield to get started. This workshop series will look at: \nWeek 1: Foundations (January 16th 10.30-12noon) \n\n\n\nWho is your group for and what is its purpose\nPros and cons of online groups – what will work for you?\nHelp needed: finding co-hosts and moderators\nA quick low-tech primer on online security\nWhat are you going to do – choosing appropriate content\nHow to get people to come along\n\n\n\n  \n\nClick here to watch the youtube video of the session: https://youtu.be/8EZsqXViWjI \n\n\n\n  \nWeek 2: Running a session (February 6th 10.30-12noon) \n\nLeading your group: welcome and house rules\nHow to make your group interactive – using chat\, breakout groups\, showing videos etc\nMaintaining mometum between meetings\nKeeping everyone safe: confidentiality and disclosures\nLeading prayer\n\n  \nThe workshops are suitable for anyone looking to get groups going online.
