DESCRIPTION:A day for all who minister to the sick\nChrist the King Church\, Milton Keynes\n\n\n\n\n\nFollowing the success of our day for Hospital Chaplains last year\, we have decided to hold a day for all in ministry to the sick. In partnership with the SVP\, this day is for everyone concerned with visiting the sick\, whether you’re going to someone in their home\, a nursing home\, or in a hospital. We encourage Eucharistic Ministers\, members of the St Vincent de Paul Society and parishioners who have an interest or involvement in this ministry to join with us for the day. \n\n\n\nWe have four excellent speakers for the day: \n\n\n\n\n* Brian Purfield\, Mount St Jesuit Team\, speaking on Jesus’ healing ministry\n* Deacon Jim Hannagan\, Catholic Chaplain at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital\, speaking on the practicalities of visiting the sick\n* Danielle Dixon\, Diocesan Safeguarding Coordinator\, sharing ideas for keeping our elderly safe\n* Paul Davies\, retired nurse\, sharing some practical ways of praying with dementia sufferers.\n\n\nThere is no charge for this event\, you just need to register. Tea and coffee are provided\, but do bring some lunch with you.   We look forward to a lovely day together!     \nRegister here!\n
